Description

Knot Bow Clips XL, the bigger no-tie shoelace accessory that locks your tied bow in place on thicker laces. Tie once, clip it, and the bow holds, no more stopping to retie.

Pick your size: XL clips fit flat laces 9 to 14 mm (0.35 to 0.55 in) wide and round laces 4 to 6 mm (0.16 to 0.24 in), like Stretchlace Round and other thick or corded laces. For regular flat laces up to 7 mm, including Stretchlace Flat, choose Knot Bow Clips Standard.

  • Fit: a larger clip with more room inside than our original Knot Bow Clips (2.2 x 1.7 x 0.9 cm vs 2.0 x 1.5 x 0.8 cm), low-profile over bigger knots.
  • Works with: flat laces 9 to 14 mm (0.35 to 0.55 in) wide and round laces 4 to 6 mm (0.16 to 0.24 in). Stretchlace Round fits, and so do other thick or corded laces. Fit on other brands varies.
  • Pack size: comes as eight clips (four pairs), enough for several pairs of shoes, ready to use out of the box.
  • Easy to install: tie your laces like normal, open a clip, place the knot inside, and press until it clicks.
  • Great for: hiking and work boots, soccer and football cleats, high tops, kids still learning to tie, and anyone with arthritis or limited dexterity.
  • Made to last: durable, reusable clips that snap on and off. Packed in 100% recyclable packaging.

FAQ

Do bow clips work with the laces I already have?

Check your lace size first. Standard clips fit flat laces up to 7 mm (0.28 in) wide, like Stretchlace Flat (1/4 inch), and round laces up to 3 mm (0.12 in). XL clips fit flat laces 9 to 14 mm (0.35 to 0.55 in) wide and round laces 4 to 6 mm (0.16 to 0.24 in), like Stretchlace Round (3/16 inch) and other thick or corded laces. A lace too big for the clip can push it open so it pops off.

Will the clips stay on, or fall off during activity?

They stay on. You close each clip over the knot until it clicks, and it grips there through walking, running, and play, yet still pops off by hand when you want it off.

Will bow clips damage or crease my laces?

No. They clip gently over the existing knot rather than pinching the lace itself, so they hold the bow without cutting into or marking your laces.

Are bow clips good for kids?

Yes, it is one of their most popular uses. Kids who can't keep a bow tied get laces that stay tied all day, and they work just as well for runners and athletes tired of stopping to retie.

Bow clips or no-tie laces, when would I choose clips?

Choose bow clips when you want to keep the laces your shoes already have and just stop the bow from coming undone. Choose no-tie laces when you want to replace the laces entirely and skip tying altogether. Clips are the lower-cost way to fix the one annoyance without changing your laces.
