Description

Dark Brown round stretch laces, the no-tie elastic shoelaces that turn any lace-up shoe into a slip-on. Lace them once and slip your shoes on and off without tying. Comes as a pair.

  • Fit: a round lace in dark brown, 3/16 inch wide, with a classic round profile and a snug, secure hold.
  • Works with: sneakers, casual shoes, and boots, from low-tops to high-tops.
  • Size: comes in 8 lengths, 24 to 63 inches. Not sure which? Our size guide matches your shoe to a length in seconds.
  • Easy to install: lace them through your eyelets like regular shoelaces and tie once.
  • Comfort: the forgiving stretch relieves hot spots and pressure points for an easy, secure fit.
  • Material: a polyester and rubber blend, rubber for the stretch, polyester for the wear, so they keep their snap instead of stretching out like cheap laces. Hand cut and hand packed.

FAQ

Round elastic laces or flat, which should I choose?

It comes down to the look. Round laces keep the classic rounded profile most sneakers and dress-casual shoes ship with; flat laces give the wider, traditional flat look. The performance is identical, both are no-tie and hold the same snug tension all day, so the easiest call is to match whatever your shoes came with.

Will round stretch laces stay tight, or do they loosen over the day?

They hold. You set the tension once when you lace them in, and the rubber core springs back instead of sagging, so they keep that tension through wear. They are built to hold their snap rather than stretch out and go slack like worn or cheap elastic.

Do round elastic laces work on boots and high-tops?

Yes. Order a longer length (55 to 72 inches) for tall shoes with more eyelets. The stretch is actually a bonus on boots and high-tops: once laced, the shoe flexes open as your foot goes in, so tall shoes are easier to get on and off without fully unlacing.

Can I wear round stretch laces with dress shoes?

They are great for casual and dress-casual shoes that came with round laces. For true formal dress shoes, our dedicated dress laces sit lower and are cut for Oxfords and derbies, so they keep a more formal line.

What length round laces do I need?

Start with how many eyelet pairs your shoe has:

  • Casual low-tops (2 to 4 pairs): about 30 to 35 in
  • Low-top sneakers: 45 in (5 pairs), 47 in (6 pairs), 55 in (7 to 8 pairs)
  • High-tops: 55 to 63 in
  • Boots and tall high-tops (9+ pairs): about 72 in

If you fall between two lengths, size up, never down, then set your tension and tuck the small extra. For an exact match, pull one original lace, measure it flat, and match that length.
