Description

Red flat stretch laces, the no-tie elastic shoelaces that turn any lace-up shoe into a slip-on. Pull them on once and they stretch so your foot slides in and out, with no daily tying or untying. A clean, classic red. Comes as a pair.

  • Fit: flat lace, 1/4 inch wide, with a traditional flat-lace look and a snug, secure hold.
  • Works with: any lace-up shoe, from low sneakers to high-tops, for adults and kids.
  • Size: comes in 4 lengths, 35 to 55 inches. Not sure which? Our size guide matches your shoe to a length in seconds.
  • Easy to install: lace them through your eyelets like regular shoelaces and tie once.
  • Comfort: the forgiving stretch eases hot spots and pressure points instead of digging in like traditional shoelaces.
  • Material: a polyester and rubber blend, rubber for the stretch, polyester for the wear, so they keep their snap instead of stretching out like cheap laces. Hand cut and hand packed.

FAQ

Are stretch shoelaces a good option for older adults?

Yes. Once you lace them in and set the tension, the shoe becomes a slip-on, so there is no tying or untying day to day. A good fit for older active adults who want to keep wearing the shoes they already love without fighting with laces every morning.

Do elastic shoelaces help with arthritis or limited hand dexterity?

They can. Tying regular laces takes fine motor control, and arthritis, reduced grip strength, or limited dexterity can make that painful or frustrating. Our flat elastic laces are tied once when you lace them in, so from then on there is no daily tying or untying.

Do you still have to tie no-tie stretch laces?

Only once. You lace them through like a normal lace, set the stretch to a comfortable tension, and secure the ends. After that, the elastic flexes as you slip the shoe on and off, and you never tie them again.

Can I slip my shoes on and off without untying them?

Yes, that is the whole point. The elastic stretches as your foot goes in, then pulls back to hold the shoe snug, so you step in and out hands-free like a slip-on while keeping the normal laced look.

What length do I need, and how do I choose a size?

Start with how many eyelet pairs your shoe has:

  • Casual low-tops (2 to 4 pairs): about 30 to 35 in
  • Low-top sneakers: 45 in (5 pairs), 47 in (6 pairs), 55 in (7 to 8 pairs)
  • High-tops: 55 to 63 in
  • Boots and tall high-tops (9+ pairs): about 72 in

For an exact fit, pull one original lace, measure it flat, and match that length, never shorter.
