Description

Black quick-lock stretch shoelaces, the no-tie elastic laces with a center lock that turns any lace-up shoe into a slip-on. Set your tension once and the lock holds it, no tying and no knots, ever. Comes as a pair, with two center locks and two end pieces.

  • Fit: a round elastic lace, about 1/8 inch thick, black with a fine white fleck.
  • Works with: any lace-up shoe, sneakers to boots, for adults and kids.
  • Size: one size fits all. The universal length adjusts to any shoe, from low sneakers to tall boots.
  • Easy to install: lace them through your eyelets, slide the center lock to the tongue and release to set your tension, trim the excess, then snap on the end pieces to finish. No tying.
  • Comfort: the forgiving stretch eases hot spots and pressure points instead of digging in like traditional shoelaces.
  • Material: a high-stretch elastic cord with a center lock that grips and won't slip, finished with end pieces so nothing frays. Hand packed in recyclable packaging.

FAQ

Will the lock hold during running and sports, or slip?

It holds. The center lock grips the cord and keeps your set tension, so the laces stay put through running and activity with nothing to come untied. The end pieces finish the cut ends so they won't fray.

Can I readjust the tension after I lock them?

Yes. Slide the lock toward the toe to loosen or up toward the tongue to tighten, then release to set it again. You are not stuck with one setting, you can re-tune it any time.

What if I trim them too short?

Trim conservatively. Set your tension with the lock first, then cut only the clear excess and leave a little slack past the lock. You can always trim more, but you can't add length back, so check the locked fit before you cut.

Are quick-lock laces good for kids?

Yes. Once the tension is locked there is nothing for a child to retie or trip over, which makes them popular for kids' school and sports shoes. An adult sets the tension and trims them once, then they are good to go.

Quick-lock laces or tie-once elastic laces, which should I choose?

Quick-lock laces never need tying at all, you set the tension with the lock and trim to fit, so they are the most hands-off. Tie-once elastic laces are tied a single time and keep a fully traditional laced look. Choose lock laces for zero tying, elastic laces for the classic look.
